The documentary film "Ukrainian Kintsugi", which was shot in Ukraine in the summer of 2023, deals with life in a state of war. Over a period of two three weeks, we interviewed people there and accompanied them in their everyday lives.

Fact-based news reports fail to capture the personal stories of the people in Ukraine, to make them understand what moves them in their everyday lives, where the true extent of suffering and hope unfolds.

In the search for personal stories we want to make biographies come alive. How does everyday life feel? feel? How do people imagine their future? What are their dreams and fears? Can they still find happiness and from where do they draw strength?
