The School of Life Berlin
I’m working part-time at The School of Life Berlin, responsible for managing the LinkedIn channel, designing posts and creating workbooks (and doing whatever photo / video needs may arise spontaneously).
Here’s what I’ve done in the past.
September 2019 – April 2020
Kruger National Park, South Africa
I spent 6 months working as a Photography Assistant in the Greater Kruger Area in South Africa. There, I was living in a reserve and giving courses on wildlife photography to participants from all over the world, after participating in the program myself in 2018.
March 2019 – August 2019
The School of Life Berlin
Being interested in both design as well as philosophy, the internship at The School of Life Berlin for three months was perfect for me. Having refined my skills and gained experience, I continued to work there as a freelance Digital & Print Designer and Photographer until my departure for Africa.
October 2019 – February 2019
Goethe Universität Frankfurt am Main
I studied Philosophy and Economics for one semester in Frankfurt. My interest for these subjects motivated me to start the studies. However, when the opportunity for an internship at a The School of Life presented itself, it seemed more interesting to me – and lead me to move to Berlin.
October – December 2018
Montréal, Canada
After graduating from High School, I wanted to gain more experience in the field of media while improving my knowledge of English and the French language. As an intern at OK! George Studio, a multimedia company in Montreal, I gained many valuable skills in photography, videography, audio production, web design and business. Working on the production of an independent documentary about racism was very inspiring as well.
